Kids Speech Labs provides a developmental screening to support families in Ireland who are waiting for speech and language assessment.
The SHARE app comprises of:
- A questionnaire about your child’s abilities and your reason for referral
- Interactive picture description games to record speech samples from your child, allowing therapists to get a better insight into your child’s abilities
- A video upload option, to demonstrate any specific concerns about your child’s speech and language.
All the information will be reviewed by our team of qualified Speech and Language Therapists, who will generate a report outlining your child’s strengths and and areas of concern that may be identified as well as recommended next steps.
You can schedule a 10 min phone call to discuss the report and our SLT will signpost you to information/activities/resources that specifically relate to your child’s needs. These are particularly helpful while you continue to wait for your HSE appointment.
